A story that takes on the journey of magical realism of fate predetermined. “They’re all mine, the robe, the slippers and sandals, everything in this place,” the rich man says, referring to the bathroom, the house, his wife, and his personal property. Like an intricate philosophical riddle unraveling piece by piece, we discover a rich man, who has lots of material things, including a left hand purchased on the black market. The original owner has a mind to have the hand back, and the hand has a mind of its own. Writer Madrid’s script goes beyond contract law and into the realm of morality and ethics.
